- Flashpoint is an Autobot from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
Flashpoint is a dedicated search-and-rescue Autobot who never hesitates to run into an inferno if it means she can save some lives. As a member of the Rescue Patrol, she often gets the chance to put herself in harms way to help others, and she's even become an instructor, teaching the likes of Minerva.

- Flashpoint is a very roundabout homage to the movie Inferno: a redeco of the original Armada Red Alert toy, movie-Inferno's deco (and a similar helmet/face) was applied to the Animated Red Alert body, which was based on the Armada Red Alert character. We do love a roundabout homage here at TFWiki.
- Why, the only thing we love more is multiple homages in one, and Flashpoint doesn't disappoint in that area either: she's also sporting Generation 1 Inferno's ear-fins, and Energon Inferno's golden stomach/chest grill.
