Scorponok may be defeated, but not all the Decepticons have fled Earth, as the Witwicky family soon discovers.

Synopsis

The Decepticons have at last been defeated and driven from Earth, leaving Spike, Carly, Daniel, Wheelie and Chromedome to say their goodbyes before the Autobots leave the planet, as well.

Their tearful farewell is soon interrupted by Soundblaster, who pops out of nowhere to kick Wheelie square in the face. Soundblaster reveals that he has been left behind on Earth in secret so that he can collect information (blowing your cover awful quick, Soundblaster). Chromedome attempts to fight back, but Soundblaster releases Slugfest and Overkill, who take the Witwicky family hostage. Spike attempts to fight back, only to be injured. Soundblaster tells Chromedome to surrender to the Decepticons if he wants the humans to live.

Daniel at last snaps and attacks Slugfest and Overkill like a wild animal. Jumping on Slugfest's back and covering his eyes, he causes the Decepticon to accidentally stampede into Overkill, knocking both robots out. As Soundblaster berates his troops, he leaves himself open to the most poorly named special attack in history, Chromedome's "Master Chrome Hurricane-Throw to the end of Hell!" Soundblaster is launched well over the horizon, with Slugfest and Overkill trailing behind him on foot.

We don't like where this is going...

With the battle over, the Witwicky family and the Autobots are surprised by an unexpected guest: Rodimus Prime! Rodimus explains that his journey across the universe is finally over. He says that despite all his hardships, he was given strength via the spirits of Alpha Trion and Optimus Prime within the Matrix, as well as the Matrix's newfound power from Earth's lifeforce. Rodimus then tells how this has driven him even harder to solidify a peaceful coexistence between humans and Transformers. He also tells Daniel that his display of heroism has moved him even more.

Rodimus and the Autobots then leave to battle Mega Zarak in outer space, though Wheelie promises to come back and visit Daniel when he's all grown up.

Elsewhere, Soundblaster has landed and he isn't enjoying himself. By happenstance, he happens to have landed at the feet of the rogue Decepticon Sixshot. Sixshot tells Soundblaster that he isn't interested in fighting, only traveling the universe and learning new transformations. He says that the first new transformation he intends to learn is that of a human. Soundblaster finds this fascinating, but claims that his data-circuits cannot yet compute a Super Transformer such as him.

Some time later, the Witwickys stroll along the beach, as a hyper-active Daniel shouts "Transform!" We're then promised that Earth will not be left unguarded.
