Before there was Orgysaurus...

The Trio Formation is a harebrained idea by Decepticon Headmaster Weirdwolf. He stayed up all night coming up with it!

  1. Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher and Mindwipe transform to Beast mode, Skullcruncher gets on top of Weirdwolf then Mindwipe climbs on top of him in a sort of bizarre beast totem pole.
  2. The trio of Headmasters walks towards the target with the aim of scaring them.
  3. Pray that Snapdragon and Apeface don't come along and try and help out, otherwise it will fall apart.

The Headmasters cartoon

Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher and Mindwipe used this tactic to buy time for Scorponok to build a Death Tower in Egypt. They employed it against the Autobot Headmasters while standing on Fortress Maximus's hull but Snapdragon and Apeface came along and attempted to pile on as well, and they lost control. Then Fortress sped up and sent the five of them tumbling. Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher and Mindwipe held on but the other two fell off. Weirdwolf suggested that they use it again to buy time for Scorponok but Mindwipe gave up and flew away. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)
