- The Energy Conversion Device is a device from the The Headmasters portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Energy Conversion Device (エネルギー変換装置 Enerugī Henkan Sōchi) is a device installed at the Sol System Center. It specializes in converting solar energy transmitted from the Sol 1 satellite to a form usable to Transformers and humanity.
Fiction
The Headmasters cartoon
Once Sol 1 was in space, it began sending solar energy directly to the Energy Conversion Device. However, the satellite was stolen by the Decepticons and later destroyed. The Energy Conversion Device was presumably used for Sol 1's replacement, Sol 2. The Shadow Emperor, Scorponok
