Professor Colan is a professor of astronomy at Princeton University. His classes are always popular, particularly with the ladies. Perhaps it's his roguish good looks, perhaps his enthusiasm for his subject matter, or perhaps it's that he pays as much attention to the heavenly bodies inside his classroom as outside. Just don't try to upstage him, or you're in for a whole galaxy of pain.

Notes
- As revealed on the film's audio commentary, the character was based on a real professor Bay knew at university. Somehow, this explains volumes about the Michael Bay we know today.
