He is best known for his role as Lelouch Vi Britannia/Lamperouge on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and in 2007 won the first Voice Actor Award for the best actor in a leading role for his portrayal of Lelouch. He has done other voice roles including Yumichika Ayasegawa and Mizuiro Kojima on Bleach, Kimihiro Watanuki in xxxHolic, and the Onion Knight in the Dissidia Final Fantasy series.
