He became a fan of racing when he saw some racers [including [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bee] and changed his name after his hero. He became a racer and during the war the scout that was a key part in saving Simfur and later served under [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] and headed to [[Earth]]... Until he had an accident involving messing with Sally [One of Ironhide's Cannons] and got thrown into outerspace where he ended up stranded on an asteroid where he spends his days playing video games.
