This article is about the Maximal security officer. For the Maximal doggy, see K-9.
9K is a Maximal from the Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

9K is a captain in the highly-trained Maximal Command Security Force. His job is to uphold the will of the Maximal Imperium on Cybertron in the name of the Pax Cybertronia. A highly-decorated officer, he prefers to stay in the field with his troops despite his high rank. His skill with energon weapons makes him a dangerous opponent.

Fiction

Theft of the Golden Disk

After a Predacon defeated three Maximal cops, 9K had a one-to-one combat with him. It seems 9K was defeated, too. Theft of the Golden Disk

Notes

  • 9K—like all of the MCSF—uses the Cybertron-series Clocker toy as a base, though no official 9K toy exists (and probably never will). His color scheme (and name) is based on the Beast Wars Maximal K-9, though they appear to be two separate characters. Litter-mates, perhaps?
  • Names for the Maximal Command Security Force were originally revealed by user icons of the characters in the Transformers Collectors' Club forum and profiles from within the fanclub magazine.
