- The ghost of the past is an apparition from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The ghost of the past is a spectral entity who dispenses advice at Christmas.
Fiction
After Dreadwind had barricaded himself into his room at the Marvel UK offices, he was visited by the ghost of the past at midnight on Christmas Eve. Resembling Grimlock, the ghost told "Ebeneezer" to quit this charade and go back to Cybertron. Dreadwind's Xmas!
Notes
- The ghost of the past is an obvious reference to the Ghost of Christmas Past from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
