- The manipulator arm is a piece of technology from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.
The manipulator arm was a tool used by Ratchet before Bulkhead broke it. Then it came to life for about two seconds.

Bulkhead broke it while he assured Agent Fowler they could adequately judge how much force to use. It's loss later caused problems with Ratchet's analysis of the Dark Energon sample he retrieved from Arcee.
