Some time after the Elite Guard ship took Sentinel Prime and his crew to Earth, Jetfire and Jetstorm started having problems trying to get the gyro-stabilizer to work. Sentinel told them to deal with the matter, but they protested that the spare gyro-stabilizer was oddly missing. The missing stabilizer, as it happened, was hidden in a storage cupboard, as Sentinel was intending to trade it to Lockdown in exchange for his services in capturing Decepticons. He took the gyro-stabilizer to Tigatron Stadium where Lockdown was holding a Ramjet, however it turned out to be a trap, and when the Starscream clone tackled Sentinel, the component was sent flying.
