Located in Iacon, Rura Penthe is a notorious Autobot prison facility.

Fiction

Wings Universe

Cybertron Elite Guard member Padlock once served as warden for Rura Penthe. It was perhaps there that he first began his self-imposed vow of silence, leaving many casual observers to believe he is actually mute.[1]

Notes

  • Rura Penthe is named after the Siberian penal colony in Tolstoy's novel War and Peace, which then went on to inspire the Rura Penthe penal colony in Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the Klingon asteroid prison from the Star Trek franchise.
