A deadly virus forces a journey to Nebulos.
Synopsis
At Autobot City, a deadly nano-virus has infected the Autobots; it constantly evolves and adapts, so Perceptor's attempts to stop it are for vain. Hope comes when the Scientist Supreme of Nebulos, Zella, synthesizes an anti-virus. As it cannot be recreated on Earth, the Targetmasters and Headmasters, who are somehow not affected by the virus, are led by Ricochet on a mission to Nebulos to pick up the anti-virus. Ricochet questions if leaving Autobot City unguarded is a good idea, but Perceptor assures him that Drift, who has controlled or beat the nano-virus's effects, will stand guard.
The Targetmasters and Headmasters soon travel to the Klovian System. Their ship lands on Nebulos and Kup acts as field leader, having a few Autobots remain on the ship to alert them of any suspicious activity. They are soon under attack by a contingent of Decepticons led by Straxus, who have emerged from inner space. Kup realizes the nano-virus was a ruse to draw the Autobots out and steal their Nebulan partners; Kup orders Ricochet to get the anti-virus while the rest of the Autobots hold off the Decepticons. As Ricochet speeds off, his path is blocked by Frenzy and Rumble. The Targetmaster simply blasts his way through to Zella's lab. Meanwhile, Kup and the others concentrate their fire on Straxus, which takes him down. Their leader defeated, the Decepticons retreat. The anti-virus is brought back to the Autobots and Optimus Prime personally commends Ricochet.
At an unknown location, Thunderwing chews out Straxus for his failure and muses that he should perhaps take a more active role in the war.

Notes
- Back in the Marvel days, Straxus was shown to be able to fly in his mobile cannon alternate mode. The ability to fly in alternate mode has been transferred over to this continuity's tank mode of his.
