Povians are aliens from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Povians are a species native to Pova in the Redan Quadrant.

Before the war, the Iaconian Newsfeed Service reported on Senator Proteus making first contact with the Povians, though his role in the event was likely exaggerated to make the Senate look good. Post Hoc

The Povians signed the Neutrality Agreement with the Transformers, granting Pova exemption status from the Great War. When the Wreckers captured Squadron X at Pova, Prowl forced the terms of the agreement on Impactor, requiring him to release Squadron X. Last Stand of the Wreckers #5
