Ty Olsson (born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1974) is a Canadian actor. Among his better-known roles are Sam on Men in Trees, Aaron Kelly on the re-envisioned Battlestar Galactica (which also stars Alessandro Juliani), and Prince Vultan on the Sci-Fi Channel's Flash Gordon.
His most widely-seen role, however, is probably that of the hapless (and iron-filled) prison guard Mitchell Laurio in X2: X-Men United.
