Magno-clamps are a technology from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Magno-clamps are components in a Transformer's body used for easy attachment to and of various objects.

Fiction

Panini Armada comics

While escaping from a solar barge, Sparkplug and High Wire used their magno-clamps to attach themselves to the hull of the ship and walk on it. Lost in Space!

Notes

  • Magno-clamps made their first appearance in the unofficial story "Alignment". In it, Grimlock used the ones in his feet to keep attached to the floor of his ship in a way akin to the usage of magno-treads, and Stormfront used the ones in his thigh to hold his concussion cannon when he didn't need to use it.
