- Alan is a human from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Alan is a young boy living on Earth in the distant future of the year 2009. He wears futuristic clothes, but also enjoys old-fashioned pursuits such as skateboarding and reading comic books.
Fiction
Marvel UK Generation 1 comics
Alan was with his father on New Year's Day when they came under threat from two distinct sources: the time rift caused by the death of Cyclonus had begun to consume the Earth and the Terrorcons were rampaging through their city on the way to activate an energy leech. Hiding from the marauding Cutthroat, Alan asked his father what was wrong with the Earth and his father tried to reassure him that someone would come to help. Overhearing this, Blot mocked them and threatened to kill them both but their lives were spared by the arrival of Hun-Grr, who berated his troops for wasting time. After smearing the good name of the Autobots in front of the traumatised humans, he led the Terrorcons away to the extraction site. Time Wars
Related characters
Other unnamed humans fleeing the Terrorcons include:
- Alan's father
- A man carrying a placard reading "Don't Panic!"
- A woman carrying a baby
- A street preacher comparing the Terrorcons to "demons from the pit of Hades"
- A man having a shave, watching from his bathroom window
Notes
- Alan's jacket bears the initial "J", though its significance is uncertain. Another fleeing man's jacket has the number 421 in the same place.
- Rodimus Prime's troops ultimately do disable the energy leech, so Alan is presumably saved. However, when the Autobots return to their own time following the Time Wars in "Aspects of Evil!", it is a different timeline to the one they left, so Alan may never have been in danger to begin with.
