Not the weapon itself, but its output. Handle? looked more of a blaster to me...

::Looking at Rebellion, the energy whip seems to come out of a small thing which is little more than a handle, so even the device itself doesn't look like the TechVolt. There's no resemblance there at all. --[[User:Abates|abates]] 17:27, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

:::Yes i know the the weapon itself looks nothing alike but the electric beams that come out of both look very simular and both beams coil around and enemy on contact. Also with the camera sensitivity turned up a little when the teckvolt is fired and you turn while doing so, the beam drags like a whip would. I was not refering to the weapon itself, merely the output of the weapon. Abates, you said the energy whip was little more than a handle, i thought it looked like a full size blaster, or is this a different weapon wheeljack equips himself with? Am i the only one that thinks that wheeljack's energy whip from prime season 3 is based off this weapon? Do you agree or not? --Shado Prime 20:25, 1 August 2013 (EDT)

Are you suggesting that this be covered on the notes for the energy whip?KrytenKoro 09:43, 2 August 2013 (EDT)

yes kind of. i dont see an energy whip page. does anyone else agree?--Shado Prime 13:55, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

I don't really see the resemblance, myself, beyond the fact that a glow-y line comes out of them. I mean, one's an electricity gun and the other's an energy whip. Given that the 'Magnus's gun locker' weapons lack official names and descriptions I'd argue that they probably aren't deserving of articles any more than, say, Arcee's transform-y hand guns do... Maybe a joint article, or a mention on the ship's page, but that'd probably warrant a discussion. Jalaguy 16:40, 3 August 2013 (EDT)
Looking at Rebellion, the energy whip seems to come out of a small thing which is little more than a handle, so even the device itself doesn't look like the TechVolt. There's no resemblance there at all. --abates 17:27, 3 August 2013 (EDT)
Yes i know the the weapon itself looks nothing alike but the electric beams that come out of both look very simular and both beams coil around and enemy on contact. --Shado Prime 14:33, 4 August 2013 (EDT)
