- Razorbeast is a Maximal in the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity
Razorbeast transforms into a red warthog.
Fiction
IDW Beast Wars comic books
Razorbeast was an undercover agent embedded in Magmatron's organization. He travelled back in time to preshitoric Earth with Magmatron and his crew to retrieve the rogue Megatron. Magmatron needed an army, and preshitoric Earth was littered with the stasis pods than had been abandoned by the Axalon, so Magmatron had Razorbeast awaken these protoforms as Predacons. Razorbeast, however, inserted a virus into the protoform-awakening software which allowed some of them to retain their Maximal allegiance. In the end, Razorbeast was successful in thwarting Magmatron's plans, but had no means of returning to his present-day Cybertron.
