Datum is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

At some point during the Great War, Chief Justice Tyrest selected Datum to wear the Magnus Armor and become an embodiment of the "immortal lawman" Ultra Magnus. His career as the Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord (and his life) ended at the Battle for Hell's Point, facing down the Warriors Elite themselves. The Divided Self He believed he had them backed into a corner as they couldn't shoot without damaging Megatron's shiny project, unaware that one of their guns was Megatron in disguise. The Gloaming

Presumably, like Minimus Ambus, Datum is also a Point One Percenter—more specifically a "Load-Bearer", whose body lends itself to augmentation.
