- The anti-transfixation grenade is a healing device (no really!) from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Only one thing can counteract the effects of Megatron's Transfixatron: the anti-transfixation grenade! When detonated, it releases energy rays that undo the Transfixatron's damage, allowing its victims to transform once again.
Fiction

With the bulk of the Autobot forces disabled by the Transfixatron and facing certain doom in a ghost town, Chip Chase analysed the effects of the Decepticon weapon, allowing Wheeljack and Ratchet to put together the anti-transfixatron grenade. A small group of Autobots, together with Chip and Spike Witwicky, took the device to the ghost town to rescue their friends. Ravage was sent to intercept them, but they were able to keep the grenade away from him long enough for Chip to throw it into the midst of the captured Autobots. It promptly exploded, restoring the Autobots' transformational abilities and allowing them to finally fight back. The Autobot Run
