- Nightshriek is Barbearian's buddy in the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Nightshriek is Grizzly-1's buddy who can transform into a sonic pistol. He doesn't like to hang out with Barbearian when he's nuts, though.

- Barbearian (Mega, 1998)
- Available only with the BotCon Japan 1998 exclusive Grizzly-1, Nightshriek transforms from Grizzly-1's right beast-mode foreleg into a bat via spring-loaded launching/auto-transform mechanism. He also has a peg on his uderside so Grizzly-1 can use him as a hand-held pistol.
- This mold was also used to make True One.
