The Collision Foam Cannon is a device from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
It's also awesome fun at parties.

Designed to minimize damage during high-speed collisions, the Collision Foam Cannon fires large blobs of foam that adhere to and swiftly set around objects. This provides a cushion to reduce impact damage. It also fires a pulse of energy to clean the foam off afterwards.

The Collision Foam Cannon was developed by Doc Greene and Boulder. When Taylor's plane was on a collision course with the laboratory, Doc Greene ran out and used the cannon to coat the plane in foam, resulting in it making a soft landing on the lab's runway. Kade noted that the foam had also put the fire out on the plane as an unforeseen but positive side effect. Doc Greene subsequently used the cannon's other setting to clear the foam from the plane. Some gremlins later got hold of the device during their rampage and pelted Heatwave with foam, though he simply shrugged it off. Blame the Gremlins
