Upon discovering that [[Megatron (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Megatron]] was still alive and as crazy as ever on Earth, [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] wasted no time in gathering a detachment of Autobots to take to Earth to finish off the [[Decepticon]] once and for all. {{storylink|Loose Ends, Part 3}} Later after the battle with Megatron on Earth, wounded Autobots were moved into the ''Valiant''. {{storylink|Natural Selection, Part One}} When they were ordered to leave the planet by its inhabitants, before they took off, Prime elected to stay to help them rebuild, despite their commands for them to leave. {{storylink|Natural Selection, Part Two}} When they arrived at Cybertron, preparing to land in the city they had launched from.
