Marvel Comics continuity

Jason Boyd was surveying the half-completed Harrison Nuclear Power Plant, making a report on the schedule and progression on a cassette recorder. His cassette ran out, providing ample opportunity for the then-lurking Ravage to transform into a cassette and implant himself into Jason's bag. Unknowingly using Ravage as his cassette, Jason continued to report on the Power Plant. Hours later, Ravage returned to the Decepticons and played the recording to Megatron. From the recording, Megatron concluded that humans were the dominant lifeform of Earth and that the Terran machines that they had seen up to then were not sapient. He also found that the humans provided many opportunities for the Decepticons to obtain energy. Power Play!
