- The Firecons are a Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Firecons are a trio of three fire-breathing monsters, the Decepticon counterparts to the Autobot Sparkabots. The trio consists of:
- Cindersaur, a violent moron
- Flamefeather, an even more violent moron
- Sparkstalker, a criminal genius stuck with keeping them in line.
Fiction
Marvel Comics continuity

The Firecons were sent to Earth to attempt to persuade Galvatron to form an alliance with the Decepticons on Cybertron. On Earth, they engaged in battle with the Sparkabots (referred to here as the Sparkler Mini-Bots), who had been sent to Earth by Springer to keep watch on Galvatron. Their battle was interrupted by Galvatron himself, who rejected the Firecons' offer. Enemy Action!
The Firecons returned to Cybertron afterward, where they forged an alliance with the alien Zabra to run illegal deathmatches in the old Jekka Amphitheatre. When Zabra was defeated by Ultra Magnus and the Sparkabots, the Firecons presumably returned to the Decepticons. Deadly Games!

The Firecons acted as jailers for the Decepticons on Cybertron. They took great glee in putting down an Autobot attempt at rebellion, before sending three Autobots off across the space bridge to be used as test fodder. Ca$h and Car-nage!
The Firecons were sent to Earth by Decepticon High Command to incinerate every copy of the "anti-Decepticon" propaganda Transformers Annual 1989 not under Autobot protection. Transformers Annual 1989
With the mysterious deaths of three Decepticons, Sparkstalker and Cindersaur, along with the Triggercons Ruckus and Windsweeper, were sent to kill three Autobots for each Decepticon believed to have been slaughtered by them. During the attack, Sparkstalker got the best of Grimlock, knocking him down, while Cindersaur stood behind, waiting his turn. All were unaware of the real killers that stood behind them, watching. Demons!
The Firecons were still with the main Decepticon force after the epic battle with Unicron. During the invasion of Klo, Sparkstalker was reported to have been accidentally incinerated by Cindersaur. The Last Autobot?
