- Jawbreaker is a Maximal in the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Jawbreaker has a twisted sense of humor. Perhaps that is why he prefers to be outnumbered when he fights. The fact that he is the most hostile of the Maximals might help in such a situation. He weilds a spinning deltoid blade. Using his magnetic field generator, Jawbreaker draws his prey within grasp.

Trivia
- Beast Wars:The Gathering featured nearly every non-show character from the Hasbro Beast Wars toyline. The exeptions are Jawbreaker, Microverse's Orcanoch and Arachnid, Magnaboss, Razor Claw, and Scarem. Jawbreaker was not forgotten by IDW, though. He is on a Beast Wars poster, which was used, cropped, as the cover to The Gathering #1.
