Gary's family stopped at a rest stop where Noah complained about how boring the vacation was. Noah, in a fit of delinquency, drew on the wall, only to be berated by Gary. Unknown to the family, they were being followed by Runabout and Runamuck throughout their planned road trip. They finally witnessed the duo in action at the Washington Monument, spraying alien characters on the tower. As they realized they were being followed, they met with RAAT, but declined to explain where the Transformer duo got the idea of graffiti from. The family soon left to go to Independence Hall, where they encountered the Transformers again.
