The Decepticons attempt to tap a giant crystal in South America.

Synopsis

In South America, the Decepticons find a shaft leading to Earth's molten core, and plan to harness the Crystal of Power that caps it for a super weapon. Starscream and Reflector hunt for needed material to begin construction of their cannon. The Autobots send Gears, Cliffjumper and Silverstreak to investigate the thefts, while Jetfire is dug from the ice by Autobots and sent to join them. Those the Autobots fail to prevents the thefts, they manage to destroy the Decepticons' cannon, and cap the shaft with a device to prevent it from erupting again.
