On a particularly hot summer's day, Nancy and some other children enjoyed the cool water from Heatwave's fire hose. Christmas in July She was at the beach during the Miss Griffin Rock pageant, and fled when a shark was spotted offshore. Deep Trouble She was playing on a seesaw when the playground had to abruptly be evacuated due to the approaching Squilsh. When ghosts infested Griffin Rock, she was among those who panicked and fled in terror. The Haunting of Griffin Rock She was riding to school on Jerry's bus when an earthquake struck and the bus was stuck in a fissure. She and the other passengers were evacuated by the rescue team. Shake Up

She fell into the lion enclosure at Griffin Rock Zoo, and was menaced by the lion until the rescue team arrived. Kade joined her in the enclosure so he could get Blades to winch her out. Prescott's Bots She attended the dog show which ended disastrously when the tent burned down. Rescue Dog As a tornado bore down on Griffin Rock, Nancy sheltered under a slide and had to be rescued by Heatwave and Kade. Ten years after the S.S. Phantom Voyager disappeared with the rescue team on board, Nancy was on the ferry when it collided with the reappeared Phantom, and had to be rescued from the water by Chief Burns. Further time travel meant this event may not have happened. Phantom of the Sea
