*Before the Combaticons were animated, there were apparently two different character model sheets made up for them.  The ones we know use the toy heads, but bodies that, for whatever reason, have little resemblance to the actual vehicles or robot modes of the actual Combaticon figures.  Another one appears to be based heavily on the toys...  but with new heads.  These went unused in any media.

The name or term "Bruticus" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Bruticus (disambiguation).

Bruticus is a Decepticon in the Generation 1 continuity.

Big, bad, battlin' dudicus.

Bruticus is the combined form of the Combaticon team. A terrifying sight on the battlefield, Bruticus is among the strongest of all Transformers. He can pulverize a suspension bridge with one 14,000 psi punch. He can lift up to 500,000 pounds. His armor is impervious to most artillery and radiation.

He's also dumb as a sack of hammers.

He can actually use those cannons on his back, now!

(Bruticus is referred to as one of the 9 Decepticon Demon Generals. This terminology, accompanied with Violen Jygar's supernatural origin and the presence of dead Decepticons in the ranks implies that Bruticus had died previously to Zone and was brought back to life.)

Bruticus was selected by Violen Jygar as one of his 9 Decepticon Demon-Generals. Rebuilt with more powerful armor and weaponry, Bruticus was dispatched by Violen Jygar to attack the Autobot's base on Planet Zone and steal their Energon Z, a rich new energy-source.
