After [[Brainstorm]] created a new timeline by [[time travel|travelling four million years into the past]], the Functionist Council were the sole rulers of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. Upon his return to the planet after two million years of service in the [[Primal Vanguard]], [[Minimus Ambus]] was questioned by a Functionary who demanded to see his [[Alternate mode|alt mode]] and who forcibly examined his [[transformation cog]].
