- The neutron laser demagnetizer cannon is a weapon from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Take-Off's Action Master partner Screech hits Autobots where it hurts: their fuel reserves. His neutron laser demagnetizer cannon saps energon from their storage tanks, leaving them out of juice and out of luck. This process involves neutrons and demagnetization. Somehow.
Slapdash favors an "electro-magnetizer gun" which works on the same nebulous principle as Take-Off's gun, except it uses electro-magnetism to do its silly work. Still, it'd probably be a fantastic weapon if Slapdash ever remembered to reload it. Or load it with the right ammo. Or even remember to keep it with him.
Grotusque's vaporator also drains his target's fuel. Only it vaporizes his target's fuel supply rather using than the aforementioned magical neutron or electrical demagnetization processes. Once his victims are out of fuel, Grotusque is free to point and laugh at them to his spark's content.
