Jagex is an independent developer and publisher of online games. It is based out of Cambridge, England.
It is most known for its very popular browser-based MMO Runescape. They developed of Transformers Universe, a browser-based game set in the Prime universe, but after several changes - including a change in format - the project was ultimately abandoned, closing in early 2015 without ever getting past open beta.
