Jagex is an independent developer and publisher of online games. It is based out of Cambridge, in the United Kingdom.
It is most known for its very popular browser-based MMO Runescape. They developed of Transformers Universe, a browser-based game set in the Prime universe, but after several changes - including a change in format - the project was ultimately forced to closedown by a joint decision with Hasbro. The website was shutdown on the 2nd of February, while the game servers still remain online.
