You're overdoing them. Fairly minor edits do not equal multiple captions. Additionally, to quote the Project: Captions page:

"Having no caption is better than having an outright dumb, inane, pointless, badly-written or unfunny one."

Please read our New Pages help article. We'd rather have no article than a some brief sentences and a stub template. At the very least, a new article should also have a continuity identifier and a (potentially stubbed) fiction section, and be properly categorized. Thank you.
