Zap-mice are animals from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Zap-mice are, as is the norm for mice, timid and hesitant. Why or how they zap is uncertain, but their skittish nature indicates that they are not aggressive zappers.

Fiction

The Transformers cartoon

As the Decepticons neared Sub-Atlantica, Starscream charged ahead towards the city, announcing that waiting was for timid zap-mice. Megatron observed that rushing blindly forward was for dolts, as Starscream and his fellow Seekers crashed into an invisible force field. Atlantis, Arise!
