The Transformers cartoon
Springer called in the Autobot Fleet consisting of the Aerialbots onboard their ship in order to assist them in rescuing their comrades that were trapped on the Quintesson homeworld of Quintessa. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 2 After Optimus Prime returned from the dead, he led the Autobot fleet in an attack on the Quintessons in revenge for the deaths of Rodimus Prime and his team. As the fleet closed in on its target, Rodimus turned up alive and well—the mission was a trap by the Quintessons with the sole purpose of destroying the Autobots once and for all. Though the rest of the fleet retreated, Optimus himself flew the flagship into the target zone, triggering the trap. Dark Awakening
