Megatron goes from miner to gladiator.
Synopsis
Senator Ratbat arrives to shut down the mine at which the Megatron toils, but tensions run hot when the senator's guards mistreat a miner and Megatron retaliates by killing a guard. Arrested, Megatron is placed on a prison transport where he's convinced by his fellow prisoners to lead a revolt. The ship is successfully taken and the newly-freed prisoners head for Kaon. Sentinel Prime tasks Alpha Trion with investigating what's happening, and Trion travels to Kaon to find Megatron has joined the local gladiatorial games. The former miner's rapid ascent in the ranks reaches the point where there is one bot he has to defeat: Clench. Alpha Trion's investigation ultimately exposes Ratbat's role in the shutdown of the mine to Sentinel Prime, and Ratbat is forced to flee. Megatron succeeds in conquering Kaon and begins planning the conquest of the rest of Cybertron.

Notes
- This is a campaign event.
- The plot is based on the IDW Publishing comic series Megatron Origin.
- Alpha Trion's alternate mode is a hover-craft mode created for the comics which has thus far only been used in a flashback in "Earthfall Part 3: The Mind Bomb".
- Ratbat naturally uses a form based on his Generations toy.
- Sentinel Prime's robot mode card is very similar to this image though with a different head.
- Megatron's evolution card art shows him variously with his hair unfurled, fighting Sentinel Prime, and sitting on his throne.
