Beehive Books continuity
Castle Decepticon was guarded by various cunning devices and Megatron's newest ally, a Malevolent Giant Serpent. It also contained drones meant for repair jobs, which like various Autobot devices didn't discriminate between Decepticon and Autobot machinery.
The Decepticons were plotting the final destruction of the Autobots, when those very same Autobots attacked the castle. Megatron sent out his troops to chase off the Autobots, and a massive battle erupted. The Malevolent Giant Serpent was unleashed as well, which targeted Ultra Magnus after his shuttle had been damaged. Luckily for Ultra Magnus, the castle's repair drones fixed it while he took care of the serpent. But then Starscream showed up... Transformers Pop-Up Book
Notes
- Given that the castle is described as Megatron's home, it might retroactively be located in the Decepticon capital Helex.
- Castle Decepticon was featured in the game "Hexagonal Attack on Castle Decepticon!" in the Transformers Annual 1986. The story "Hunted!" from the same annual noted that Megatron had built a replica of his fortress on Cybertron somewhere in South America.
