Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.
Brimstone attacked Hyperious, bringing "death and blackness". After Brimstone was defeated, his personality component was stored in an urn which bore the tale of the attack on the city.
