The gun-toting, bare-chested title character of the movie Crambo will defend Earth from those deadly slimemolds from Beta Hydra II! And he'll use lots of very large guns to do it!

In the UK version of the story, the events of "The Big Broadcast of 2006" are a fabrication invented by Wreck-Gar.
The movie Crambo featured the titular character facing off against purple aliens, who looked pretty harmless and terrified, to be honest.
