Salvvatan VIII is a planet in the same star system as Salvvatan VI. It does not appear to be inhabited, because if it was, someone probably would've noticed the seemingly abandoned Cybertronian city on its surface.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
One of the buildings in the Cybertronian city was in fact Metroplex, hiding in solitude on Salvvatan VIII whilst safekeeping a mysterious object. When the Throttlebots escaped from the nearby Orvus Base, they detected Cybertronian life signs on the planet and crash-landed near the city in search of help. They found it completely void of people, yet full of energon, but were attacked by Sixshot before they could bother investigating. The battle with Sixshot caught Metroplex's attention, and after dealing with Sixshot, the giant Autobot announced that his position was compromised and relocated to another planet.
