The Battle of the Star Gate
Flegg was the commanding officer of the four-man team assigned to work on construction of the Trigger, an interstellar teleportation system housed in a satellite developed jointly between the Autobots and the United States government. He and fellow crew member Anya were performing some external work on the satellite in single-man pods when the remaining crewmen, Makoto and Trov, started arguing about the true nature of the Autobots. Flegg calmed Makoto's fiery temper by telling him that a team of Autobots would soon be arriving for the first test-run of the Trigger. Mere moments later, however, the Decepticons launched an attack upon the station, and Flegg was killed when Starscream and Dirge blew up his pod. First Contact
