- Akiba Prime is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Akiba Prime (アキバプライム Akiba Puraimu) is the Autobot Commander assigned to the district of Akihabara. An idol back on Cybertron, she's an accomplished commander whose balance between being strict and gentle has won the hearts of many a subordinate. Her signature weapon is two Electric Swords that let her freely control electronic circuits.
Notes
- Akiba Prime was conceived as part of the "Cybertron Satellite" promotion wherein select towns and neighborhoods had their own "mascots".
- She is modeled after Prime Arcee, and has "magical girl" connotations due to the otaku culture at Akihabara. Her Electric Swords are a reference to Akihabara's nickname, the Electric Town.
