- Repair crabs are Transformer technology in the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Repair crabs aid in a Transformer's repair, scuttling over the surface of the body reactivating disabled components. The unnamed crab-shaped technology is attached by lengths of cable to much larger machinery.
