Pyro and crew attempt to find Hi-Q, but end up prisoners on an unusual planetoid.

Synopsis

On planetoid Qre, Runabout and Runamuck discuss Side Burn's memory loss between them - though not very discreetly. While not remembering much about himself but his name, Side Burn does not seem all too concerned but, rather, is bored at doing nothing with his two guardians. He asks them what they do for fun, and they challenge him to a race, which he easily wins. Suddenly, the three 'bots notice a ship arriving and Runabout asks Runamuck if he remembered to follow Jhiaxus's instructions and mask the exhaust trail of the ship, so the Autobots would not be able to find them.

As the Autobots disembark, they are surprised that Qre is entirely covered by metal, like Cybertron. Windbreaker notes that it should be an actual rock. Without warning, a defense system seems to be activated and guns pop out all over, firing upon the new arrivals. Initially surprised, the Autobots use their forestonite-enhanced abilities to level the playing field. However, the defense systems prove too overwhelming, and are only shut off when Jhiaxus arrives and orders Mirage to deactivate them. Hubcap is shocked to see Mirage taking orders from a Decepticon. Mirage responds with confusion at hearing Hubcap mention Cliffjumper, apparently not recognizing the name. Pyro suggests they all sit down and sort through the confusion, which Jhiaxus is only too supportive of.

Once inside, Pyro notes that all the evidence the Autobots have gathered points to an inhabitant of Qre having abducted Hi-Q, and stolen his research. Jhiaxus pretends to be shocked only long enough to agree with Pyro, then release Sharkticons on them. Stating that he has a lot to explain, he then blasts them with an energy that suppresses Forestonite, having gotten a sample of the substance from Sky-Byte. Additionally, he puts them in a holding cell where he explains that he had hoped they would find the clues Jhiaxus left behind, so they could see the 'Generation 2' Cybertronians up close and in person. Blaze then threatens violence if Jhiaxus will let him out, which the Decepticon scientist responds is all too predictable- the Autobots are fighting a war that Jhiaxus believes has nothing to do with them, but belongs to their predecessors. Pyro responds that they only fight because the Decepticons make them fight. Jhiaxus counters this assertion by quoting Optimus Prime, saying that Optimus has incited the Autobots to just as much violence and war as any Decepticon has.

He then asks Pyro a very important question...
