- Bikecross is the designation given on a proposal to use the Vroom mold for the Victory franchise, to complement Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus. His design is specifically based on concept artwork made during the development of Victory.
- At the BotCon 2015 panel where the inspiration for the character was discussed, Hayato Sakamoto said that Bikecross (the name on the original design proposal) was not the name of the character in IDW.
