- Major is a military rank from the Transformers Animated continuity family and Generation 1 continuity family.
In several Cybertronian military structures, Major is a rank, usually an Autobot one, lying above Minor and below Prime.

Nova Major became the leader of Prima's tribe after his master fled off-planet during the First Cybertronian Civil War.
