Miranda Jones is the wife of Dr. Brian Jones, and the mother of Chad "Kicker" Jones and Sally Jones.

Miranda Jones lived with her two children on Ocean City, while her husband was conducting research on Cybertron. She was often worried about Kicker's brooding, loner nature.
Later, Dr. Jones christened the new joint Autobot-Earth Federation starship he designed as the Miranda II.
